ELISA for the Screening of Flumequine Residues in Food Samples
The MaxSignal® Flumequine ELISA Test Kit enables the detection of flumequine residues in various sample types. The MaxSignal Flumequine ELISA Test Kit provides a unique extraction method, which is accurate, rapid, cost effective and easy to use.
Flumequine is an antibiotic in the group of fluoroquinolones, which can inhibit the activity of bacterial DNA gyrase. Flumequine is a first generation broad spectrum antibiotic often used in veterinarian medicine for the treatment of enteric infections in domestic animals, poultry and fish. Because of concerns about drug residues entering the food chain and contributing to bacterial resistance, flumequine has been detected in the food products.
This kit is manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008.
The MaxSignal Flumequine ELISA Test Kit has the capacity for 96 determinations or testing of 42 samples in duplicate (assuming 12 wells for standards). Return any unused microwells to the foil bag and reseal them with the desiccant provided in the original package. Store the kit at 2-8°C. The shelf life is 12 months when the kit is properly stored.
