ALL-TAIL™ Kit for Poly(A) Tail Analysis Launched

• Bioo Scientific announced the availability of the patent pending ALL-TAIL™ Kit which incorporates a rapid and sensitive procedure to enable the size and sequence analysis of the poly(A) tail and 3’ UTR sequence of a specific mRNA within a pool of total RNA. The ALL-TAIL Kit contains all of the components needed for the simple 3-hour procedure; ligation of an adenylated linker to the 3’ end of total RNA, RT, PCR and gel separation. The ALL-TAIL Kit can also be used to detect miRNA molecules using a linker ligation technique followed by PCR.
  
  According to Dr. Lance Ford, VP of Research & Business development at Bioo Scientific, “Given the mounting information that demonstrates the importance of differential poly(A) tail addition to the 3' end of RNAs and the length fluctuation in different cellular states we predict this kit will enable new levels of understandings in gene regulation and may be used to develop novel diagnostic indicators of disease.”
