Sensitive Testosterone ELISA with Rapid and Cost-effective Extraction Methods
The MaxSignal® Testosterone ELISA Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of testosterone in fish, shrimp, meat, plasma and urine.
Testosterone is a steroid hormone from the androgen group and is found in mammals, reptiles, birds, and other vertebrates. In mammals, testosterone is primarily secreted in the testes of males and the ovaries of females, although small amounts are also secreted by the adrenal glands. It is the principal male sex hormone and an anabolic steroid. Testosterone is also illegally used as resource in cattle fattening.
Bioo Scientific also offers a kit for the detection of methyltestosterone.
This kit is manufactured to the international quality standard ISO 9001:2008.
