The NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Modules offer additional flexibility to amplification-free Illumina library preparation. Amplifying AT or GC rich genomic regions often leads to sequence biased nucleotide compositions and poses a serious challenge during analysis. Using specially designed master-mixed enzymes, the NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Modules completely eliminate the need for amplification, enabling better read mapping and a reduction in duplicate sequences, leading to reduced sequence cost and bias for more representative base identities and better de novo assembly. All of these modules are compatible with Illumina sequencing platforms. These modules are available in any quantity greater than 100 reactions.
NEXTflex™ PCR-Free End Repair Module
The NEXTflex™ PCR-Free End-Repair Module is designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently repair fragmented DNA with overhangs to blunt ended DNA. The NEXTflex™ PCR-Free End Repair Module is supplied as a master mix to maximize efficiency and convenience in DNA sample preparation workflows. The module is the first step in the NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Sequencing Kit.
NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Adenylation Module
The NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Adenylation Module has been designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently incorporate an “A” on the 3’ end of blunt DNA fragments. The module is the second step in the NEXTflex PCR-Free Sequencing Kit.
NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Ligation Module
The NEXTflex™ PCR-Free Ligation Module has been designed with enzymes and buffers to efficiently ligate DNA adapters to adenylated DNA fragments. Using Bioo Scientific’s Enhanced Adapter Ligation Technology, adapters are bound to more DNA fragments, leading to increased sequencing diversity and reads. The module is the fourth step in the NEXTflex PCR-Free Sequencing Kit.

The shelf life of all reagents is 12 months when stored properly at -20°C. These modules ship on dry ice. The modules are available in any quantity greater than 100 reactions.
