Preclinical Testing Services

Bioo Scientific offers preclinical testing services for drug development at our USDA and OLAW approved Animal Facility. BIOO provides a cost effective way of testing specific drug molecules, including RNA based drugs, in the small animal model system most appropriate for your specific goals. This service enables the researcher to take potential drugs against clinically important targets into a preclinical setting for further validation in an efficient fashion.

At BIOO we have a strong technical team that is experienced in conducting toxicology and functional analysis studies in the whole organism. We are able to perform exploratory and mechanistic toxicology studies in a variety of small animals and report them in detail according to pharmacological regulations. BIOO will handle everything from protocol design, sample prep, dosing, study monitoring, and interpretation of study findings, to report writing. At BIOO we are capable of conducting experiments to assess mechanisms of major organ toxicity (liver, kidney, muscle, brain, nerve, reproductive tissues, hematology, etc.) and investigate mechanisms of structural (chemotype)-based toxicity using histology, pathology, cell-based assays, and bioanalytical chemistry.
