In Vivo RNA LANCEr
Max Suppressor™ In Vivo RNA-LANCEr uses a novel non-toxic blend of fat-soluble naturally-occurring hydrophobic molecules to efficiently deliver siRNA and miRNA into mouse organs. The advanced formulation enables users to perform siRNA and miRNA delivery in vivo for target validation and drug target identification purposes. After formulating siRNA with Max Suppressor™ In Vivo RNA-LANCEr, the RNA becomes stable in serum thus, preventing the need for modifications for stability which reduces the synthesis cost.
The procedure takes less than 1 hour of preparation time and can be performed in any standard laboratory setting. Simply, mix the siRNA with semi-dry lipid cake of Max Suppressor™ In Vivo RNA-LANCEr, sonicate and inject as shown in the figure below.
Dried siRNA/RNA-LANCEr cake is stable for extended periods of time at -20°C allowing preparation of the small RNAs to be done days before the injection is performed. Injection of this agent via the tail vein has been shown to give the most efficient gene reduction in the liver, lung and kidney. However, the delivery route can be focused so that more efficient uptake and reduction may be obtained in your desired destination. The siRNA may be directly injected into a subcutaneous tumor or into a specific organ using surgical procedures.
