Human/Mouse Twinfilin 1 ELISA

This kit enables users to detect twinfilin 1 protein (also known as protein tyrosine kinase 9, A6 protein tyrosine kinase, and PTK9 protein tyrosine kinase 9) in a quantitative fashion in human and mouse derived cells and tissues. This kit contains all of the components needed to extract protein from cells or tissues and to detect twinfilin 1 protein. This ELISA assay is particularly useful for researchers studying miRNA function in mammalian cells and animals as miR-1 muscle specific miRNA directly impacts twinfilin 1 mRNA at the posttranscriptional level. Following the delivery of the miR-1 miRNA RNAi agent into cells or organs, the level of twinfilin 1 can be monitored to analyze the impact of delivery both in cell culture and in vivo. This enables users to rapidly analyze delivery of miRNA RNAi agents using an easy and cost effective ELISA assay. This method is more economical than performing PCR in standard conditions and allows for a more physiological impact of miRNA function as compared with using PCR.
